That was mine :) and its sold now! - 15k miles of love and cherish though!
IMO UK WRXs are nippy but dull without PPP - and you try and get reasonable insurance with the PPP!
Trade price on an imported 182 could be much nearer £8k than you would care to imagine :o (especially from...
£123 all in from Nicholas Smiths in Skipton - tidy (free) courtesy car with lots of petrol in, friendly staff and a fully valeted motor too!
Maybe a bit far for you though Karen :p
Well finally got a V6 testdrive yesterday after (literally) months of trying.
Now i know why owners rave about them so much!
Compared to the 182 I much preferred the seating position (seat seemed lower/slightly further back) although the steering wheel seemed slightly more offset. The climb...
Ditto Oms - hardly any fluid left and looks like brake pads are gone on mine too!
Also need clutch adjusting (hopefully not replacing!) and probably 4 new tyres :(

BUT I went to the ring this weekend and filled up with 98 RON Super (or 100 RON Shell V-Power where they had it) everytime and you could really feel...
Accord Type-R every time, although they are VERY different cars to drive - for £7k you will get a 2000 one with less than 50k miles (100k will be alot cheaper!).
Assuming you dont have any major probs, Accord will be more expensive to run/service - low 20s mpg is average (Super unleaded only)...
Yup everyone recommends that - Im a tight-arse though and as long as the rears are massively more worn than the fronts its usually ok - helps if you can drive though :)
