There is very little between all of the Renaultsport Clios but all things equal, as the 172 cup has the highest power to weight ratio it should be ever so slightly quicker. We are talking hundreths of a second though
I dont see it being a problem, I know a lot of younger people register their cars in their mum and dads name and then go on as name drivers to reduce costs.
If its what you want and a good price then go for it, good luck
If your main reason for selling is for financial reasons then I would get a 172, despite what people say on here, if you are just driving them on the roads you wont notice the difference between any of the different varaitions be it (172, 172cup, 182, 182, 182 with cup packs, 182cup or 182 trophy)
I know people are talking about discounts but if you order it through the Renaultsport website today (you would have to be insane to do it) then you will pay full price!
£17.5k when specced up like a 182 LOL
I know a lot of crap is being spoken but the facts remain its going to be more expensive than the 182 and you get less equipments in it, only time will tell on performance and handling
I agree with most of what has been said, the reason i bought the 182 was for the overall package of performance, handling, toys and value for money.
If you go on list prices a 182 with option would have cost just over 15k where as the 197 wil climate xenons etc will cost over 17k.
Its a...
There shouldnt be anything between the 182 and 180 as they have the same power and weigh virtually the same.
Although magazine road test suggest different, both evo and autocar have the 182 being a significant about quicker to 100 than the 180
I saw a Meg 225 F1 at the Renault dealer and if im honest i though it looked cheap and tacky. I wasnt keen on the wheels or the stickers although the seats did look nice
i recently got a dent took out of my 182 at the Renault dealer, although it took them four attempts before they eventually looked at it, eventually the work was good and they did it for £40
Im 6ft and have the seat as far down as it will go and not far off as far back as it goes. I dont have a problem with the driving position and i find it quite comfortable
Mine is parked in the garage, i think as with all cars it is possible to break into the 182 but they are very difficult to steal without the keys.
Secure car parking should be fine
