apologies if this has been covered elsewhere but i can't find anything via a forum search and the google search came up with loads of techy stuff that confused me
what is the purpose of this install and what can it be used for? is it for use with any other apps etc? any help much appreciated...
the only 'lag' is likely to be caused by running several apps simultanelously (which you can only do on a JB iphone)
my 3GS doesnt seem to run any different than before i JB'd it. the only difference i've noticed is that teh battery goes slightly quicker when running multiple apps but that's a...
might be a dull question but why would you want to unjailbreak it? the iphone is 10 times better once jailbroken and not just beacuse of the free apps etc.
just the vast improvement in functionality was enough for me. Apple put waaaaaay too many restrictions on the standard iphones
saw your car parked up in Cardiff last night at about 17:45 - think it's caleed "College Road"?? about 50 yards from a Premier Store
lookeds super clean and the gloss black wheels with RB combo has to be the best by a mile!!
nice motor!
Looks smart mate but it def needs a little lowering. I'd only bother with coils if you intend on track work tbh. If not then some sportlines would do I'd say
^^T1R's are cheap cos they're sh!te. Any bit of moisture & you're in trouble cos they don't grip at all when wet. They also don't last very long
PE2's are more expensive but are def worth it!
Just wondering if the Mintex 1144's are any good really?
I've had DS2500's on my 182 for about 25k now & i'm really impressed with them. Car is going in for an MOT on Tuesday and I've got a feeling that my front brakes will require changing pretty soon after.
The mintex pads are half the...
My original fronts lasted about 24k. I changed to DS2500 then which are still on the car & I'm coming up to 51k now. Cars going for MOT on Tuesday so we'll see how they are.
Original rears lasted me about 36k
I haven't done any track days though & my 50 mile commute doesn't require huge...
does that included tyres off & refitted / balanced?
sounds about right depending on where you're having the work done i'd say.
Wheel Specialist quoted me £260 for all 4 wheels done inc tyres off & back on again - i still haven't had mine done yet cos i'm waiting for another company to get...
they're 182 wheels mate. they're Silver at the minute but i want them done in in Anthracite. Couple of the wheels have got some nasty marks on the face (where i scraped a curb at speed :o) so they're gonna need a proper going over.
i might have to bite the bullet in March & get them...
Can anyone recommend a place in the south Wales area that does a good wheel refurb?
I know if the wheel specialist but they're quite pricey so was wondering if anyone knew of a cheaper alternative?
Cheers! Sarge :D
What time you thinking of? I only ask cos 21st is day after the last of the 6 nations games!! Last time I went karting with the forum it was the same story (day after international rugby) & I was soooo hungover I nearly chucked up in mcdonalds car park before we went! lol
different insurance companies use different criteria in order to provide you with a quote. what works for some may not work for others.
I was with Bell insurance last year & my renewal came through 2 weeks ago with a price of £634 inc breakdown cover. you must be off your head if you think i'm...
car looks great on them wheels i think - don't look too big to me at all?
15's would def be too small i reckon. it would look like it was on skateboard wheels lol
i run DS2500's on mine and have never had a problem but expect quite a bit of brake dust......but that's a small price to pay for the impressive stopping power in my book - it rather have dirty wheels than a smashed up front end! lol
just a quickie - if i but some 172 Cup Turinis for my 182, would i need londer wheel bolts to compensate for the difference in offset?
182 offset is ET45 (i think) and 172 Cup Turinis are ET37 (i think) so they'd be about 8mm further out.
my car is lowered 30mm on sportlines but rubbing...
Hey all,
does anyone else get a grinding noise & shaky pedal feel when braking in snow or icy conditions? I think it's the ABS kicking in but I'm not sure?
It feels terrible like something is wrong but the brakes are fine in normal weather. Is this right?
Cheers
i've got Toyo Proxes T1-R's all round on mine and i certainly wont be getting another set! they're ok in dry conditions but are utter gash in wet / icy weather.
when these go i'm going back to PE2's at whatever cost - they are by far and away the best tyre for the 182 IMO. i know they cost...
I've got a Pro-Speed custom exhaust on mine - love it!
i did look at the K-Tec exhaust aswell which looks a quality product. heard too many bad stories about Miltek so avoided them like the plague and Yozza is waaaay too loud for my liking.
thanks for these guys - much appreciated. looks very smart i think!!
now i need to decise on either the 1.2s or having mine refurbed.......? hmm i'l have to sleep on that one
