I've not even sat in a new 200, let alone driven one.. My local dealer didn't have one. I chose the Fiesta on the basis that It was cheap and well received. Do I care that there's thousands on the road? Not really. If the Clio was as cheap as the Fiesta, I may have looked into it... 5 doors...

For me personally I find the car often gives me understeer or oversteer too easily. In this day and age, whilst a lot of people think oversteer is 'cool', I find it leads to a nervous drive on public roads - I doubt the standard Bridgestone's help... I don't feel they are a performance tyre at...

I've certainly been quicker on a local b-road in my old Mini Cooper S on Eibachs and non run-shats.

Its a good drive don't get me wrong although I'd say its a tad over-rated/hyped.

Hang on, you don't think it would be quicker than a Clio as it stands? :persevere: a standard Clio or? There's not much in them std v std... With the money this thing has had chucked at it, along with the fact the k20 is a far superior engine to the Clio's.. I would expect it to be a one-sided...

I know what you mean, although they may find what's failed and deem that as the causable part, not what has led to that component failing etc.. I would imagine it would vary from dealer to dealer in terms of how much digging and/or if a technician feels he can actually be bothered (I know lol).

I want to re-map my Fiesta, I doubt it will be via Mountune tbh. In terms of a gearbox failure, I would imagine most dealers would look at what has failed, rather than why...and fix the issue. If they find out its been mapped, yeah game over... But unless its blatantly obvious with stickers...
