Re: dmallett's indecisive clio thread! Monaco ph2 pg1+, Titanium ph1 pg31+, PB ph1 pg
Glad to hear it! I let her go on 116k I think! Has it still got a map on it? lol.
Re: dmallett's indecisive clio thread! Monaco ph2 pg1+, Titanium ph1 pg31+, PB ph1 pg
Glad to see this ***** of a car is still going! Pleaseeeee don't let it go lol!
A car is only worth what some is prepared to pay for it IMO.
Judging by this threads logic, I paid what people would call over the odds for a Ph2 172 not long ago, but to me with the work its had done to it... I was happy with what I paid.
When I was looking, the difference In quality between...
So everyone was bigging this car up etc, but in reality its just another Ph1 with some edited pics? Or am I missing something here?
Don't mean to sound harsh, but for the price I got offered it for, I wouldn't be expecting an inch of water in the back..?
:boring:

Got them from these guys as I heard good things about there reps. Many companies do them but the quality is often s**t.
Jesus what happened here?
Sorry I didn't reply, I totally forgot where they come from until now.
Christ, this brings back memories! (Albeit, not all fantastic ones lol)
I had mine for about 6 months, in that time the bloody thing never locked lol.
Reason for selling it occurred shortly after I went to jack it up to inspect a sticking caliper. The jack kept going up...the car, meanwhile...
I've only advertised on CS at the mo.
I might be leasing a new car shortly via work (works out a decent deal). So figured possibly something smaller for abit of weekend fun might be abit more worthwhile.
Re: My new car. TTQS
I rung Seat after reading this...
Stated my car wasn't a part of the affected ones :coffee:
Wouldn't of minded free coils for no reason lol.
This was my TT airbox, which I basically copied to do my Leon one.
It makes a really nice noise tbh!
Regarding tips,
I like the idea of the billet adapter on the V2.2 and its proven to flow better than the all silicone piece.
... But I'm probably only going stage 1 with this car and I'm...
Tom,
Part number I have is 06A115251 RRP is £9.69 + Vat.
Regarding the Wak Mod, I've done it to this for a wee bit more noise until I get a Badger5 Kit on there. I did the same old my old TT aswell lol :clown:
So I've had the car for approx 3 weeks now and I'm still enjoying it lol.
I must stress, Seat/VW have an annoying habit for the fixings used on the likes of tow eye covers and fusebox covers etc... But hey ho.
Service parts
In the bag, was this...
Fairly common for these pick up pipes...
I enjoy the car personally. Its not as chuckable as a Clio (as expected) but saying that, it can be thrown around more than I was expecting with plenty of grip in reserve.
As a daily, its fairly comfortable and reasonable on fuel. Overtaking is so easy when cruising in 6th... the joy of boost...
This ones just reached 80k, cost me £3800 with a little haggling (splitter, rear tow eye cover...even knocked him down for the budget tyres fitted lol) Service history is not complete, but is reasonable. Its also had a cambelt and waterpump just over a year ago.
