I've just got back from a weekend in Wales - write-up here. During the trip the car clicked over 60,000 miles and the whole weekend it performed faultlessly, but now it's time to get all the jobs that need doing done. I've got everything I need for the belts etc so I'll take it all down to MWM...

I think Chris Powell could have them done for £30/pair, but postage will be a fair cost on top.

Take with you a decent tyre pressure gauge and a compressor that runs off the cigarette lighter. Reduce pressures to 25/26/27/28 and do a few laps, come in and check pressures as soon as you can. Adjust if necessary. Go out again and repeat. Don't forget to reinflate at the end of the day...

Lovely, really like that, but what's it like to live with on a day-to-day basis? I'm not talking fuel economy or servicing costs, I'm on about whether it's big enough for a 1/2 child family, holidays, lugging stuff around. To me it just doesn't look big enough to be an only car.
