Nope... and those pics were at the start of the day, I did a few more forest miles after then... nowt wrong with a bit of dirt though, I'd rather be driving my Clio than staying home polishing it :D
Thanks! I think the lighting (they were taken as the sun was just starting to appear) and the water drops on the car/condensation on the windows has made the pics look better than they would usually.
It'll have a proper wash in around 4 weeks, no point cleaning it properly until after the Cambrian and RAC Rally as it'll only get all dirty again - lots of driving around muddy tracks :D

Not as sturdy or as well built as the £60-£100 ones but for occasional use it's fine.
I don't know about circuit stuff but there's no chance of making a living at rally photography. A few years ago before everyone had DSLRs then maybe but not now. Drivers are reluctant to pay anything anyway, especially with most folk being willing to give them freebies. The only way to make...
Think of some themes before you go and stick to them rather than going for the tourist shots.
I'd have thought limiting yourself to one prime lens would stifle creativity rather than encourage it eg taking a 50mm you might get a standard tourist shot, take an 18-200 and you can zoom in on...
A couple of things I'd suggest....
1. Composition - eg first pic is good but I think it would've been better to crop out the grass/fence on the right and have the signs on the right and the figure on the left. Also get the full Private Fishing sign in rather than cropping the bottom of it...
I don't blame him, 6R4 for me any day. Not that I'd fit in a Darrian anyway. The braking is the most amazing thing about purpose-built rally cars I think, I went in a Focus WRC and the stopping power was fantastic. The acceleration up hill on gravel from a standing start was pretty impressive...
