If you dont like the ABS, just remove the 5amp fuse from the fuse board. The braking system will still function perfectly OK but you will have to live with the ABS light on, on the instrument panel. This would fail an MOT, so you would have to put the fuse back in for the test. Cant really...

This is tough one to try and diagnose in a forum. I take it, it only does this after raining and at no other time? Unlikely to be rain, but anything is possible. It only happens at idle? Not when driving? Does it cycle through this behaviour about 10 times? and then its OK? Here goes...

New ones should go on the back! Saw it on some telly show once. Top gear? Something to do with grip. If you place the new ones on the front the grip is better but the back end can become loose and break away during cornering. I maybe totally wrong but I am sure I saw it on telly! Bob RTE
