Hi Jase It maybe a gear linkage adjustment but normally it would indicate a weak detent spring. Not an easy job. Gearbox out and strip to replace the faulty spring. If its a recon box, why not take it back to your supplier? Bob RTE

With the 13mm nut undone, give the wiper arm a GOOD yank in the normal direction of the wiper sweep. This should break the arm away form the spindle. Renault recommend the use of a spacial tool for removing the arm, but if you still have trouble, use a 2 or 3 legged puller. Bob RTE

Could be the driveshaft outer CV joint. Check the gaiter for any signs of leakage. If it only happens at low speeds and on a lock, chances are its the CV joint. Bob RTE
