Its currently under investigation. I know that doesnt help you at this time but bear with it. These things do take time to get sorted.
As soon as I know of an updated ECU reprogramming, I will post it on the forum.

All Renault dealers are able to supply you with a multitude of models ranging from the old to the new in 1/18th or 1/43 scale.
Hope that helps.

I have had a chat with our parts manager at work and he has no information regarding ANY of the after market accessories available.
Sorry cant help
Have you tried Jeremy Townsend?

Shock absorbers DO NOT alter the ride height of any car in standard format.
If the torsion bars have been incorrectly set then there will be a difference in ride height. Check the heights on both sides as already stated by BenR and Anders

The conventional braking system will work perfectly OK without ABS. Just pull out THE correct fuse.
However, there is something else to consider. The MOT!
If a vehicle is equipped with ABS and it is not working or the warning light is on, then I am afraid it WILL fail.
Hope that helps...
Hi AGP
Sorry, cant help on this one. I have received no customer complaints regarding this 3k flat spot, so its not something I am aware of. Renault are currently investigating some software glitches and maybe they will sort this out at the same time.
Will let you know if I find anything...
Ah - now that is an official Renault immobiliser/alarm that is fitted by the dealer not by the factory. It will inhibit ignition and starter commands and is also an alarm. The after market immobiliser only system would consist of a coded black plug that fits into a socket on the dash. That...
The sticker that has been placed inside your windscreen is a new initiative from the MINISTRY of silly walks (Monty Python)
When an MOT is carried out on your vehicle, the tester has been asked by the Ministry of silly walks to place this sticker in your windscreen as a reminder of when your...
Im still up! I should have gone to bed!
The factory type immobiliser will allow the engine to be turned over and may even fire for a very SHORT while.
The immobiliser I think you are referring to is NOT a factory fit and therefore will inhibit all ignition and starter commands...
Even though I am knackered, I cant stop thinking about a solution!!!
It MAYBE possible to return your ECU back to an UNCODED ECU!
It is a complex procedure and will require you fitting YOUR original ECU back onto wkdlads car. I cannot disclose the procedure on the forum so you will have to...
Hi Clean16v
Sorry about the delay in replying but I have only just home this evening from a 2 day course at Renault.
I think I know where you have gone wrong, and I am afraid there is no quick an easy solution.
What may have happened is that wkdlads ECU is coded (obviously) and your ECU...
This "problem" is currently under investigation by Renault France.
There is no "cure" at the moment.
As soon as the details have been released, I will post a reply.

I totally agree with Leigh on this one and I am truely sorry that you have had such a bad experience with your local dealer.
I have to deal with customer complaints everyday and would never conduct myself in anything less than a professional manner. I introduce myself and ask what I can do to...
Hi swelch.
Thnx for the compliment
I will have a look at work tomorrow and see what I can dig up.
Not making any promises though.
It maybe worth your while to contact Jeremy Townsend for the infinate answer (He is the Clio brand manager)
Hope that helps.

If you are unable to FLICK onto main beam when the lights are on dipped beam, then that is a faulty light switch, it will need to be replaced even though they will flash with the lights OFF!
Also sounds like the wiper switch has also given up. Try a replacement.
Hope that helps.

The airbag computer is independant from the injection computer so you should have no problems swapping it over. However, if your car is equipped (and I cant tell from here) with a factory fit immobiliser then the ECU you are swopping may not be compatible with the decoder box. To tell if you...
Its not a HANDBRAKE, its a parking brake!
Its designed to hold the car stationary with it applied and not for doing handbrake turns!
The car is equipped with dual circuit brakes and therefore the PARKING brake has only been designed to HOLD the car when stationary.
You should have a...
Direct diesel injection.
Thats the French for ya!
Its a common rail diesel injection system.
It works by having a common gallery under extreme pressure and the Injectors are opened electronically by a computer, much the same way as a conventional petrol injection system works.
In the...
As far as I am aware, and dont take this as set in stone, Renault do not operate such a scheme. However, if a part becomes "back ordered" with a V.O.R (vehicle off road) situation, a courtesy car can be claimed via the parts department of your local Renault dealer. Ask for details if it is a...
Tn1666a outlines the details for repairing the wiring to the heater blower motor.
If you PM an email address to me I will forward the info in PDF format.

Its a new one for me. I see plenty of Clios everyday and havent seen one with the dents you describe, nor received any customer complaints.
Sorry cant be of more help.
Bob RTE
Just to reiterate the correct procedure for closing the bonnet to avoid denting it, the bonnet should be lowered to about 6 inches and then dropped. (Its stated in the owners manual) Placing the bonnet on the catch and then pressing down will result in denting the panel.
Hope that helps.

If you dont plan tp keep the car after the warranty has expired (1-3yrs) then thrash it at every given oportunity, but only once the engine and oil is up to temperature.
I read in Motorcycle news a few years ago that thay bought 2 identicle bikes. Both dynod from new and both more or less the...
