if its a 1.2 16v then the air filter is changed at 18k. most dealers arent bothered about ik etc

the neck of the filter goes through the outer casing. a hose clip keeps it secure and then the hose fits onto the filter neck.

put the gearbox in nuetral,undo the pinch bolt on the linkage and put the gear lever in nuetral. tighten it up. try it and adjust it left or right depending on what gears are difficulkt to engage.

yep rte at lambs. your noise was the inlet manifold had come loose on its top mounts.

not got the manifold and ecu yet. the filter housing is quite big so i dont see why you cant fit different filter in there

put the original filter back on and go somewhere else. you have been fobbed off

the max mileage you are allowed throughout the warranty is 60k. it doesnt matter how much you do the first or second year etc as long as you dont go above 60k over the 3 years.

apparantly the pas pipe bangs on the engine. the original mod was to move it but it didnt work. they are now doing this second mod with a new part.

hope there right but at least you get a new box. i had one once where it banged and the driveshaft kept slipping in the diff. intially thought f**ked box but i found the subrame gearbox mount and the mount under the battery both loose.

there are two mods:- 1,knocking/metal creaking noise from shocker top areas. there is a strut top mod for this 2,knocking which sounds like behind the dash/centre console area. happens when cornering hard/aggresive. there is a part under test for this. dealers have to contact renault...
