cups havent got the reflective windscreen like 172 or 182 so luckerly mine works a treat just sat on the bottem of the windscreen.

you can get the chassis number and all details from the reg number. its a spot on system as long as you put the right reg in. the only time you get mix ups is when private plates have been moved around vehicles but the renault system is not updated. sometimes you get vehicle details from a car...

the seatbelts out of a clio with the centre belt will just bolt straight in the cup.

54 reg is a clio 2 phase 3.

most dealers wont be bothered.

02 will be a phase 2 with fly by wire. if so it has 4 potentiometers. 2 in the pedal sensor to read throttle position request and 2 in the throttle body so the ecu can accuratly control/check throttle butterfly position. have changed quite a few throttle bodies and pedals for variuos faults.

im going to get renault clip set up at home but the can boxes are pricey so ive been looking for alternatives. seeing as the obd system is supposed to be universal i thought cheaper alternatives like the posted link might work.

some older airbags had there own battery to set off the discharge. maybe these have a light to warn you the battery is defective.

how old is the car? is it the valver?
