Never said anything about heroic driving, nothing wrong with pushing your car though. Even if you don't, better brakes are always nice to have them.
I know i'd be happier driving at 60 on a NSL B road with a decent brake setup than at 45 without.
I've got a spare wheel in mine just now (just for the winter) as I don't trust the tyre weld to get me home if I get a flat and I get stuck somewhere remote and it's fooking freezing.
Will take it out soon thoughand stick the can of foam back in.
