I had a VTS for a wee while, decent wee cars an can look quite tidy. Mine was red with dark wheels. Only thing I didn't like is that they were very whiney. Not a good whine either.
Test drove the VTR but couldn't get on with the Sensodrive.

I like the silver better too. If the wheels were getting done a different colour I think the air vent would need matched too, but silver looks spot on with the black. Anthra might look better on a silver or blue one.

The wheels will no doubt get lost in the arches and tyres if trying to do them black/glossy. I gave it a go but kept losing them.
I thought it was tram lining that was the issue? I don't imagine a buckled wheel will cause the lightness issue. Tyre pressures too high can cause that.
