Ah a non ac friend!
Yeah only reason I'm selling is cos I've had it 5 years this September just fancy a change tbh
I want a 250 cup ideally, however they are a bit over budget for what I want to spend on something I only drive at the weekends. Mk2 meggy other than a r26r don't really do it for...
Cheers. Yours is a nice example, nimbus is underrated IMO
It is still up for sale, but had a major wobble on Sunday though, still not 100% I want it gone really......
They really can't be beaten for driver enjoyment down a good B road IMO. Perfect blend of speed/handling with reasonable...
so just nmap bang in the address use the -sU command?
What range does it scan? I'm looking for quite high numbers, but cant see where i can filter the search?
fecking udp, pain in the hoop!
Basically got a site that was all fine on a HH3, then the router locked up/crashed about 4 months...
So i'm familiar with port forwarding, and generally have no real issues, however ive run into one where a certain port is not open. Its under the same rule in a BT HH3 with another 5 which are all open. Its a UDP port.
Does the address i forward to have to be "listening" for this port to show...
R26.R do it
I was throwing the 197 around a B road last night and i honestly dont think I could get rid of it. To coin munson's favorite saying they really are the last of the old school hatches with the big(ish) NA lump upfront.
Revving the tits off it, chassis in its element box (touching...
evening cleaning geeks :)
Is covering a 197 diffuser doable with C4? With it being quite a large area, i'm a little worried that parts might start to cure before removing the excess?
Also thinking of doing the grille too, again this ok as its quite intricate?
Nice attention to detail there
Can't help think you dropped a bollock painting the grills through, chipping will always happen. I've got some g techniq C4 waiting for mine
I wouldn't say it's a "common" issue, certainly not in this country. I've seen a few reports of failures but they seem to be in hotter climates
I've had two so far and once warm get used properly. Probably stuck over 60k between them.
perfection that!
If i ever had a Mk2 again this would be the first mod 100%
Regards the wear, ive had one on my 197 for over three years, looks as good as the day i picked it up
get a nice standard exhaust on it and you'll love it

Don't use super blue, it f***s the seals on these fo some reason. (There's a thread on 197net about it)
Who's belelding them? Are you doing a full bleed, ie the 4 on the front and the two rears?
Yup, sums up my opinion on them
Droney crap. I bought a 172 years ago with one fitted. It lasted a week. I bunged a new standard one on decatted and it was perfect for me.
You wont get much mk3 love on here i'm afraid. However i love mine, had it over 4 years. I have no need for a mile muncher, and living out in the sticks its brilliant for a good drive.
They are good for what they are. Nice and revvy, nice winding B road is where its happiest. You can get Xenons...
They are toss
I had one on my cup way back in 2004. After a few weeks i had the inlet off and it was full of grit. Got rid and replaced the standard element with an ITG.
The viper was w**k then, and is now.
