you will also need - new inlet manfold and some type of custom rocker cover, cable throttle body, injectors and engine management- plus mounting it to the aux belt it wont be cheap nor worth it

It protects the brake pipes, clutch cable, acc cable and a few other gubins from the heat of the manifold- if it didnt need it renault wouldnt have put one there
I have one fitted to a mk2, its fitted under the front cross member, i belive it can be fitted in a similar place in the mk1.
Just call merlin motorsport and ask for a price for a mk1 clio oil cooler kit, you can also try rally design they are usually cheaper

at that price you could get a traditional air to oil cooler and all fittings. I would fit a 13 row. I suggested a laminova due to the space restrictions in the valvers...

I usually get the circlip out smash the outter casing out then the inner part of the bearing is usally stuck to the knuckle - i heat this up and smash it off easy
Its the throttle postision sensor that gets clogged up with oil as tidy says. Its part of the throttle body unit and cannot be replaced unless you change the whole body. You can however clean it out with some carb cleaner, this sorts it 8 out of 10 times.
