Got to disagree Gav. I had a horrible yellow Fiesta with 130k on it and it was crap slow! Spent nearly every other week in garage or getting towed!
Sold it after 6 months and engine blew up the same week and had angry guy moaning at me. I showed him all the reciepts for the work had done...
Are these thicker than the Megs:

Ha ha Monday or Friday ones!
Can't seem to get a working link to Barzo's guide. Been on DetailingWorld a fair bit. Heard to use some QD on pad to stop it drying out. Thought might start with Megs #80 on Megs Finishing pad (cream one. ) Then SRP. Does EGP apply ok with machine as well. Heard it...
Cheers Rich.
I was thinkin use slowest speed and keep moving around. My mate said they used to use water as well to keep heat down. Think slowest speed is 900 rpm and next 1500.
He seems confident cause he used to do cars everyday but it all still makes me nervous!
Heard applying SRP works...
Hi
My mate is an ex valeter and we've brought a rotary between three of us. All we need now is some pads or mops.
Which is better them big sponge mops or 5 inch backing plate and some 6 inch Megs pads.
He wants to do his van which has had sign writing on it. Got some compound that will...
I'm sure this should be glued right onto windscreen so what runs down plastic towards scuttle plate area but mines coming off.
What should I get/use to re-attach it? Anyone had this happen?
Mine shakes like that on country roads. Thought it was just how the suspension is. Stiff makes it give you that fight back. Heard lot of cars suffer from it.
On smooth roads it's fine. Tracks fine. Potholed lanes not.
Ay fair point. False economy true.
Anyway Hillpower gave me the cheapest quote. Even without club discount was £30 cheaper than Citrognome (a localish specialist) but I can't get time off work and a lift to drop car off and fetch next day which is a right shame.
He's too busy to do it while...
For AUX belt? Thought that was only for CAM.
If it's got a tensioner why would there be an adjuster? Sorry xcuse my ignorance but...
Well if I did you to Nick what should I get done while it's there. On 105k. I've done oil and filters and haven't got any spare cash for expensive tuning so...
Damn garage told me today they don't want to do it!!!!!!!!
Said that it's a silly engine in such a small car. I replied saying it was stupid fast and he said I was daft for buying it cause it's so hard to work on. I said why am I stupid I'm not the mechanic YOU are. He didn't seem to like that...
Think tensioners are about £70 and belt £14. Can get all seperate. Looks like I'm going whole lot then if it can take cam out.
Thanks for your input guys.
Hi
My Aux belt had started squeaking. Took to garage and mechanic said the tensioner isn't pulling properly and has seized up. He said he will take it to bits Wednesday and sort.
Now the question is if he thinks it's fine should I just pay the labour and have new belt or should I get a new...
Cheers Ben.
Bloody weather. Cleaned polished, sealed, and then waxed car friday to take out today. Went to garage. Used a bit of QD for any dust. Pulled car out and it started raining.
Was looking mint now it's just wet. At least the paints protected but is it ever gonna stop raining. Had...
Cheers Rich.
Where can I get the 50/50 from with Club Discount? Oh and do I apply it just like any nuba?
Oh and should I get a German applicator pad or am I fine just using the Megs yellow ones.
