Nearside wheel has been rubbing previously by the look of it. There has been a new caliper fitted so I don't know if the wheel has had a knock but the wheel looks original and unbuckled.
Anyway the gap on the otherside is small but worse on the nearside. Could it be a poor camber setting? Was...
I had a quick race with one.
I pulled two cars away coming off roundabout in second. Kept it all way through third. Changed early and hit 4th at 4k and still kept same distance. Had to go somewhere else so left it. He gave me a flash too say nice race and I did same back.
He was obviously up...
Just for back and front symmetry. To be honest I did realise how small they looked until I'd painted the front. Would teach me to start at the back.
Most cars with calipers painted have them all the same though. Suppose not painting the back also draws attention to them. Also you can see the...
I don't like the front end but seen the back of one the other day and it is nice.
Mind used to like Willys and Valvers and they look so old now. I have a Ph1 and I thought it looked better than ph2 but my mind is changing.
End of day they are supposed to be mint at handling. Just hope they...
Only thing that worried me is that the nearside wheel has been rubbing against arch at top and that side had new caliper on.
It is close now but not rubbing but it just makes me think it's had some sort of bash. Worse thing bout taking cars to bits is the things you find that you didn't want...
Well searched on Scooby forums cause apparently they come fitted with Sigma M30s. Mine is an M30 not S30, silly me!
Anyway found a way to reprogram pin code using key fobs. Apparently the fobs don't work well near fone masts so maybe that was the problem. If you move the car then they come...
Nah not yellow. My friend has a Calibra DTM Edition and they suit that but not with black. Silver would of been good. I was torn but just thought of back lights.
Yeah thought maybe silver but with original back lights on ph1 I thought got to go in yer face red.
Match car nice I think. Did toy with blue to go with dash but though NO!
Wheres the scuttle panel?
The bonnet switch does seem a bit rusty underneath. Should I take it to bits and skwirt some WD40 on it or something?
Thanks Brian once again you've come to my electrical rescue. Trying to get in touch with TOAD but it's bank holiday!
Spoke to a TOAD fitter and he says alarm should have lifetime warranty. I will just have to lie about not being to original owner. He said shouldn't be the rain more likely control box is fudged.
Aaargh. Went to a wedding yesterday. Got there pressed alarm button and it didn't arm. Tried everything no go.
So I left it a hour tried again still wouldn't work. Rang RAC and they towed me home. Got home tried it and it worked! Only thing is it was raining yesterday.
Could it be water...
Wow 2 1/2 years lol.
Mines a black ph1 so you'll probably know when you see me. Seen loads of 182s and 172s round Heanor but your the first one to reply to spotted. lol
Re: Car rattles sounds like from rear somewhere.
Special made plates with www.ClioSport.net on with sticky pads so that should be fine. Good idea though. Had similiar prob with another car.
Re:
Boot is empty. Took wheel out and padded it up + tool kit. Exhaust been checked. Seats locked.
How do I check springs and rubber bushes and whats the load sensor on the axle. Sorry to ask so much but I'm new to the car etc.
