    Did that too

    Worth doing? Or new car?

Yep mine too, I just gave mine a good clean up before taking it. I think it would have to be a fair leak and a picky tester to fail one

    Worth doing? Or new car?

Yep, I think it needs to be actively dripping

QUOTE="JamesBryan, post: 11837718, member: 44780"] They have them custom made and nearly 3 times the price they were when Renault supplied them. George at RTR then

    Bleed nipple length

I've been looking at Bigg Red caliper service kits, they are a fair bit cheaper especially for the rears if bought from their Ebay shop and free delivery

    Bleed nipple length

I'm gathering bits to overhaul my calipers but cant find a length for the bleed nipples, from searching on here I've confirmed what I thought from when I last did this that they are M7 x 1mm.

    172 handbrake cable

I've done a bit of reading up which suggests using a 182 offside handbrake cable as they are a fair bit cheaper, is this still recommended?

    PH2 172 underside resto

I'm contemplating doing a bit of an underside restoration myself this spring/summer, Im hoping to get the rear beam of for painting but paranoid about removing the 6 bolts to get the mounting brackets off. I've done a semi suspension refresh on both of my last 1*2s it's well worth it

    Stub axle bolts

Good point but you'd soon realise when the caliper mounts were in the wrong place surely. Saturday night and I'm contemplating such crap!

    Stub axle bolts

Is there a good reason for one of the four stub axle bolts on a 1*2 to be an M8 when the other four are M10s, theres room for it to be M10?

What have you done to your car today ???

^ I'm not happy with that now, I should have cleaned the hubs up and painted them but fitting it all in was going to be tight. I think I'll be stripping it back down when we get lighter evenings but at least the bolts will come off easily.

What have you done to your car today ???

Fitted 16mm hubcentric spacers to the front which took longer than it should have thanks to a seized disc retaining bolt that was proud of the mounting face, a centre punch saw to that eventually. Started to fit PMS 10mm stub axle spacers to the rear, wasn't all that bad considering the 17...
