Anyone know where I could get a LED dash conversion done locally on a 182? I live in Salisbury,
Wiltshire. I would attempt it myself, but my electrical skills are non-existent.
I would much prefer to just pay someone else to do it!
Any chance you go past the high post (through the woodfords) in the morning? I've got a BG 182 and often see you. (used to have the black MK5 Zetec S with the cosworth wheels.
Car looks really good, but i prefer RB and black combo IMO.
Browsing through PH as you do on your lunch break. I know there are a few E46 M3 fans on here, and i know there's alot of LY fans on here, so thoughts on this..

Seems a good...
Hello,
I have had a very quick search on my lunch but found nothing.
I have brought some flocked A-Pillars, but when i went to remove my original ones the alarm sensors are in the way, the wires run to the back of the dash, do i need to remove the dash aswell and unplug the alarm sensors...
This could be a friend of mine, he was down south in the army, but has recently left and moved back to Manchester with his folks. Loves his Clio's (got 3 of them) but refuses to join the forum, for whatever reason.
^this, there's a guide on how to remove the top part of the dash, it's pretty simple from there removing the dials etc. be carefull though as the trim is fragile!
I'm not sure if people had seen this, so thought i'd post it..

no worries, another thing to check when testdriving is the gearbox, as these are quite weak is abused. Got 2 mini's in my family, i would say they are of similar size.
Yeah there are, there's a section in the forum that organises all meets. Im from Salisbury so not too far away!
I won't say anything about the TT situation! :p But the Clio's are cracking cars, you won't get much more in the way of bang for buck. Drive them right, you will see high 30mpg, give them some beans and you'll be smiling from ear to ear. There not the quickest in term of straight line speeds...
cheers for that! I'll have a look at the Pioneer options, meaning i can always change back to standards one if i need to, for whatever reason.
I assume the rears are also 13" aswell?
I'm looking to uprate the speakers in the 182 (as the standard ones are shocking!), but i dont want to change my head unit as i like the OEM look.
Can anyone point me in the right direction for a good set of speakers that will work well with the factory fitted head unit? Budget is around...
I prefer powder coating to painting as powder coating is thicker, therefore more durable against chips etc. Depending on where you go to get them done, they will have a variety of colours, usually costing circa £40 per wheel.
Can't say I’ve ever heard of it weakening the wheels though..
