I fitted a set that i was given. Horrendous. Took them off straightaway.

My 172 did it for several months before the release bearing finally collapsed ( it had done 100K and in a 172 thats good going ). If you have a 172 then start saving ( £400+ fitted ) ! As i see you have a 1.2 i doubt its too big an issue....

i stuck valvoline in mine. Just make sure you get the stuff specific for renault and peugeot boxes.

could make your own quite easily. instead of holes could use a blade for more adjustment. just need some bushing material and get the bar bent on one end...

problem resolved itself overnight. must have been the gremlins that did it !

On way home tonight had the blower on full. Arrived home and the fan will not turn off. Even removing the key the fan still runs. Had to disconnect the battery to stop it. Will check in the morning. Any ideas ?
