    took me an hour of fiddling. i fitted the rod. stuck it in fifth and adjusted it. then checked it against reverse. lots of fiddling and you can do it. get a mate to help.

    update , `MR CLUTCH ` thieves . please watch this vid and advice urgrntly needed.

    they always use relined clutches. i cant believe in this day and age that anyone would even consider it. a relined clutch might work in a mini metro, definitely not in a 170bhp hot hatch ! they quoted me 250 to do mine. sounded way too cheap to me so ran a mile.

    years ago took my seven replica kitcar for an mot and left it. later found out they had been hooning around an industrial estate in it. had words with the manager but nothing came of it. doesnt even need a road test for an MOT. was a very quick car as well and needed careful handling...

    on my phase 1 when i turned the steering the belt slipped and i was getting a loud squeaking. i concluded it was the PAS 2 weeks later the car just stopped. turns out the aux belt jumped and moved the timing. result was many damaged valves. when i pulled the motor out i cut the aux belt off...
