Back end on my Cup gets light if you dont brake and then corner properly. Just have to make sure you get it right everytime. But any light car will get light on the back end if you don't respect it and drive it properly.
You found some thats a close match to the standard carpet in the front? I think black carpet would look out of place in mine. Come to think of it, your interior will be a different color to mine at a guess? Might just spray my interior white.
Did mine soon after i got it, defo makes a difference. The MSV cage is perfect for me and what i want. Noticed even more difference when i had the passenger seat and all the carpet and trim out too, but was very loud.
MSV cage
I vote the standard airbox being good enough. Mine has larger cold air feed pipes and a few holes drilled into the cold side of the box. Very loud and the car aint slow.
Thanks man. I know what you mean, somone always manages to park next to you no matter what, and its always the person who simply dosnt give a **** about anyone else.
Thing is theres just nothing you can do about it :(
lol, by the time we'd got out of the car she was driving off again but all my bro managed to was shout 'thanks then!' and stick his thumb up to her. She looked but obviuosly had no idea what he was on about.
It's annoying more than anything else, i mean the car looks quite smart and was very clean and shiney so you'd think people might take a bit of care when doing anything near it, like i do when around anyone elses car (clean shiney, old or new etc). I always always park out of the way of anyone...
Washed and waxed last Sunday then it stayed on my drive til yesterday, took it out for a quick drive and dont even remember parking anywhere and then found this :( Good news is the paint is only very lightly scuffed so it should be quite easy to repair. :D
Nowhere near finished yet...
With regards to stripping out making it faster, of course it does, less weight with the same power engine. Had all the interior out inc carpets and passenger seat over the last month or so and the car was noticeably quicker, albeit ALOT louder.
Its not too bad thanks, just can't keep on top of keeping it clean all the time with all the driving i do. Spent some time on it this morning though, shes all shiney now
Yeah you'll almost always be happy with what you go with in the end so no need to go overboard unnecisarily. It feels good and it defo looks good so your clearly on to a winner.
Cheers, the roads round here are real bad too. Personaly I don't mind them being stiff at all but our roads have some real nasty bumps that makes the car feel like you've just hit a kerb at 30mph. Not good. H&R's would be my 1st choice but money may mean FK's or KW's etc.
How come it runs to the rear of the car then? It comes through the bulkhead right behind the washer bottle, down behind the glovebox, then under the plastic trim along the door sill to the rear of the car.
Jealous much! Coilovers is one thing i really want to do to mine. Whats the ride like on FK's? After having race set up Bilsteins on my last car i dont want anything too stiff this time :)
Awsome work, looking at your pics again has inspired me to get out on the drive tomorrow and give mine some loving as its looking a bit grubby compared to yours. Although i do have proof that mine can look clean...

Sorted the leak today, since stripping everything out about 2 weeks ago and putting some sealant around the gromit in the bulkhead i thought i'd enjoy the car for a while while its all light and empty and just wait for some rain to test my sealing. Well it hasnt rained and as the car is soooo...
