The front splitter on my Cup is starting to fade a little, can anyone recomend anything to get it nice and black again? Something thats likely to last.
Oh yeah sorry, forgot to update. Yeah went through fine, guy just said if it aint there he cant test it. The place i used was a bit 'local' though. But still, good result :)
The car currently has no back seats with an MSV half cage. The rear seat belts are still bolted in but the bits they clip in to are removed. Is my MOT tester going to throw a wobbler if the belts are in but the other bits arnt?
Also so here...

Good to spread the knowledge of how a HDR picture should look as (no offence to anyone) alot of so called 'HDR' shots keep popping up that are terrible to be honest.
Got ALOT on at work at the min so i just cant find the time to do them. All our machines are constantly backed up with work. We usually have a quite spell in the new year so hopefully i'll be able to knock some out :)
I have the only Clio in our cul de sac (read as pit stop), there is however.....
500bhp Ibiza Cupra race car
250bhp Lupo
460bhp Octavia
200bhp Golf
Home made sprint/hill climb car on carbs (unsure of bhp)
Mk1 Escort rally car (unsure of spec)
And on a dailey basis any number of tuned big...
Looks like the airbox (box type, not pancake style) is a sealed unit on this engine, so does that mean to change the filter a whole airbox is needed?
Also what would cause the car to not start on a regular basis? Sounds like the car is turning over but not starting. I'm guessing (And only...
With the amount of Saxo's you see driving around local looking like that you'd think that they left left the factory like it. Bloody awfull. I had a 1997 Saxo VTS just 2 years after they came out, lovely bit of kit for its time. Such a shame they're rep has been ruined by this sort of thing.
A small fortunes worth of kit that would would be perfect for a small company...

I cant say without looking but IIRC the mk4 Golf uses a small linkage, or is that the mk4 Astra, i can't remember off hand.
EDIT/ its the Astra i think that uses the linkage, the strut on the Golf 4 is mounted on the suspention turret.

I know, i like my music, i'm a Trance/Hardcore DJ and LOVE my music. Its the one thing i REALLY miss in the Cup, the sound system in the Cupra was so lush. May invest in a 10" sub and components for the Cup when i sort the back out and tidy it up.
That is of course if i can find more stuff to...
Surley one small one each side would do the work of just one large one on one side and take the weight of the bonnet. Our Mk4 golf has 1 strut which is tiny and that works ok.
In order to get the same feel without the stripping i think the best you will manage is to stiffen up the suspension and increase the bhp a little.
I had an Ibiza Cupra before this and it had everything from leather and climate to a professionally installed 1200w audio setup. Gave it 220bhp...
An aftermarket exhaust will drown out the whistle probably, i think the actual standard bore is ok for standard power, but the CAT and silencers are probably a little restrictive.
Watch out weight removal can get addictive once you start seeing results. If your not careful you'll end up driving around in little more that a shell. Good fun though.
Read as "faster, more agile" hehe
