Was thinking about trying Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3 instead of contisports on my 172 are they a better tyre for the 172 and do they last longer? Is it ok to have these on the fronts and contis on the back?? ps. excuse my cluelessness :)
In this picture mine look more like 6000k than 4300k i like the blue effect but i dont like blinding people are the standard bulbs 4300k or 6000k?

- HELLA 5DV008290-00 Ballast
- HELLA 5DD 008 319-10 Ignitor
- D2S Bulb
I know this is the right bulb and ignitor but is this the right ballast to go with them?
If my bulb flickers a few times when i first turn the light on but doesn't come on what do i need? a ballast or an ignitor?
Yeah i tried alloys on my car that a lot of clios have round here and looked so much better when i put originals back on. Clios just dont go with fancy alloys looks odd. What about anthracite turini's?
Also those alloys above have a crome lip thats going to stand out and emphasise the...
I think it must just bewhere its clipped to the arches then as i'd undone all the bolts but it felt as if it would snap if i pulled any harder. I'll have another go i've put all the bolts back in now though lol
I took the bolts out of the top of the headlights,
the two bolts under the wheel arches,
i've undone the bolts securing the plastic to the plate underneath the car
and i've removed all the torx screws underneath the bottom lip.
It still seems to be attatched behind the bottom...
My passanger side flickers when first turned on but doesnt ignite so does this mean its not the bulb?
Ive taken the bulb out and the blue round thing inside the bulb has a white spot on it, is this normal?
Are they definitely 4300k? In this picture mine look more blue than these...
The grey roads in this map round the three reservoirs are great too though i recommend night time runs or very early morning ones as they get too busy to drive fast during the day.

Aye thats it! Annoying if you get stuck behind cars though! I pull over and wait. If its been a while since a car past i'll pull out when i see next one coming. Then you have a nice long traffic free run till you catch up and get stuck behind something again :)
Haha know that road well! lol. Would of made my day if i'd been popping to asda's and seen those 3 in car park! :) Let me know next time you have a meet!
Do any of you know the road over to hirwaun from A470 on way to brecon from merthyr? Then after hirwaun you can take a road to treherbert...
There's a place near me that matches inlet manifolds and sells them for £250, then give £100 refund on return of your parts. Perhaps they would give me few quid off if i get it done on my car and give them an extra inlet manifold too.
Just put in last minute bid of £1! :) Dont have a clue what i've bought. Said this is what i need to send off when i buy a matched inlet manifold, so is this all i need?? Assume i got myself a bit of a bargain...
I dented mine had a carbon one for ages that you had to push down then when i put the original back on forgot and dented it! oops! Costs £40 to get fixed.
Guy in work does this he uses the brush at a jetwash, he's always had nice cars which are always spotlessly clean he untill the sun comes out and you see every mm of paintwork covered in swirls! Looks awfull! Plus it must cost him a fortune!
I have to add when i say his car is always...
