Had a few plonkers over the years as well, last one when I sold my 172 Cup, Umpteen photos on the for sale ad. and someone asks me if the Turinis were standard, also can I take some more close up photos of the Turinins. Never heard anymore, not even a "sorry it's not for me"
Any thing you sell...
It's not exactly a washer, more of a spacer and Renault do list them as a part. Did the partsman show you the exploded diagram on his screen? it should be there.
Like any other car, once it's 8 to 12 years old the value plummets. Insurance costs for younger drivers of RS Clios is more than the value of the car so it doesn't surprise me it's getting harder to sell. Dropping the price is one way to sell, if not, breaking it and selling the parts can more...
It does sound like the auxialiary belt as you say P/S and temperature rises. The belt drives both the water pump, P/S pump and A/C pump so have a look there first. Hopefully not the Cambelt which will be a costly repair.
At least it doesn't stop you doing trackdays :approve: Fletch. Still need to know what a UCH is, Relay, ECU? and where it is.
Anything the French can balls up, I can fix.
Now the door warning light shows, sometimes flashing and other times permanently on. I've disconnected the door switches and the tailgate switch but still it shows. The alarm sometimes goes off randomly when the car is locked up so maybe the 2 things are connected. The only switch I can't...
Perhaps you are right mate, I did hit quite hard as it wouldn't switch on the 1st. time. I Left the battery disconnected since retuning home so will see what happens tonight.
Anyone that can help with this? Car stalled, I switched the Hazrds on as I was in the middle of the road, engine was re-started after a minute then I couldn't switch the Hazards off, drove home a couple of miles with Hazards on ( Of course everyone has to tell you your Hazards on on :rasp:)...
I'm not belittling the work you do as the area org. I feel sorry for the work you put in to this, with all and sundry putting their names down and just don't turn up. I don't live in your region your but frequent Combe often and go with the Skoda boys, 28 names for the track and 28 turn up...
20 cars on the list and about 8 turn up! You boys make me laugh. I did notice the the Silver 172 having a few wobbles on track at Camp, was he having Fun or losing control?
