im 18 and i asked them they said between £1000-£1300 (quick quote) for the 16v 1.8 ve good im paying £1100 for my 1.4rt the now.

i think im willing to spend £2000 at the mo (due to the fact the engine will get rebuilt and ive got to sell my 1.4rt first) im in dumfries in scotland. many thanks m8 jamie.

not bought it yet, and when i do i buy it it will be getting gas flowed and my n02 kit will be going in that. and a body kit also. i thought i better to do it to a good engine and not to my 1.4. what you all think any ideas what to look for or where to look. cheers jamie.

hi ive decided to buy another 1.4 engine and get it sorted to have a gr8 1.4 car. so now is there somewhere that supplies engines (hopfully at scrap value) or even for a few hundred, any ideas people cheers jamie.

hey nick ive spoke to you b4 about this (i phoned) i cant quite afford the conversion just yet and i would also like to keep the car a 1.4 as the tax and insurance is lower, and i want to have something different a 1.4 thats no ordonarry 1.4. any other input. many thanks jamie.
