I am just installing my headunit (right now) and have to conect it to a suitable earth.
what would be suitable in a mk1 clio?
I have noticed that there is a big metal plate behind where the head unit goes, which goes right down to the bottom. would this be suitable?
the cable isnt too...
I find that Xenons dazzle me and look like cops some times.
And in the highway code, flashing your lights is indicating that you are coming through. but every one uses it the reverse.
Im getting a alarm soon and am probably going to go for a Meta M99T2 cat 2 - 1 upgrade alarm, which upgrades the standard imobiliser and adds a alarm.
Has pretty good feature list and is £240 from my local shop.
The Standard Front is 13cm but witha little work you can get 17cm to fit.
And the Standard rear is 10cm. Same size as the standard front dash speakers.
I have 17cm Components in the front and 10cm 2 Way Speakers in the back and it sounds good.
My Mate has the alpine Type R 6x9s paired up with the 6.5" Components running off a alpine headunit.
Its sounds very clear and is loud being run off the Headunit. the 6x9s have quite abit of bass.
Recomended.
Woke up this morning to hear that my door was unlocked and on the catch.
Go to look at the car and turns out my cd player front has been taken, Cd wallet with over 50 Cds and my Digital Camera.
Bit cheesed off with this, thought we lived in a nice area but oh well.
Does anybody know how...
Took a little while to take off, but got them in the end.
Paid £47 for the pair and they where in the same colour as my car :)
Is this a good price?
Will put them on soon they look good.
Its not hard to make it to two fog lights at the rear though, on the oposite light you just take out the plastic tab on the empty terminal and plug a bulb in.
Have you checked the conections etc?
Its a Mk1 Ph3 and the book 0-60 is 13.1 so it is acheivable, and its the mpi engine which they have in the early mk2 1.2s so its pretty nippy for the size.
I got a online quote for a base quote and then rung up and said about additional things. that way it couldnt go above the online quote.
They usually give you a order code for the online code. worked for me when i rang up because they wanted more on the phone than the online quote.
Im not sure if you can put the dials in. but you can get renault dials from here: http://www.metal-monkey.co.uk/acatalog/Renault.htmlhttp://www.metal-monkey.co.uk/acatalog/Renault.html
