I didn't see the whole display tonight, though I remember last year they were very good.
Only thing that ruined it was driving back through Cosham with literally about 70 chavs standing in the road with poles, bits of wood etc.
Ah right cheers. So when I connect all these wires do I need to dis-connect any wires that are already in?
Does it need to be done in any specific order, with the engine off?
The thick blue wire is attached to the battery.
The silver wire is really short, and attached to the chassis just below the boot floor.
I'm not too sure where the thin wire goes.
Hi, I don't have the manual that came with my amp and I don't know too much about audio.
All I want to know is which wires go where on the amp?
2 wires are in my boot at the moment, there's a thick blue wire which is attached to the battery, and a kind of silver wire. Where do these go...
I took it in to an audio centre, and apparently my drivers door speaker is blown.
My left tweeter doesn't work either so apparently there might be a cross connection in the door, which they would have to work on for a while.
They didnt charge me for looking at it.
They're Alpine type R...
I have the standard Billabong bulbs, and they are aweful.
I'm not sure if they need replacing or what.
I'm constantly on full beam.
I've heard Halogen are good but I just need some advice?
Also, when the lights are on I want them to be that white ish colour, rather than the stained orange...
It had the problem when i got the car.
The set up:
2 alpine type R speakers & 2 tweeters in the front
2 speakers in the back.
2 JBL 6x9's
JBL 4000 4 channel amp.
Alpine iDA X001 Head unit
Who lives near Portsmouth ish?
My speakers sound horrible, and I don't have a clue why.
I can't get any real volume.
When i fade the sound to each side, the speakers start going nuts and rattle like a b*tch.
I just don't want to take it to an audio centre to get ripped off.
Thanks.
I had exactly the same problem with my speakers/tweeters.
I took it to a local audio place and they said it was something to do with the wiring in the door.
Best bet is to simply take it to your loal audio repair place and let them sort it out.
Even if it's not the wiring, they will find out...
