Which lights are best?

I have the standard Billabong bulbs, and they are aweful.
I'm not sure if they need replacing or what.
I'm constantly on full beam.

I've heard Halogen are good but I just need some advice?
Also, when the lights are on I want them to be that white ish colour, rather than the stained orange.

best goen one for performace than looks.
I use the Halfords performance ones there not that bad if you get them on a 2 for 1 offer. They last longer (about a year vs 6 months for stock then again my car gets a bit more abuse than normal) but thats down to driver more

You'll not see a huge gains but te only other option are the HID kits you see on ebay etc (do a search a few people have them fitted) or use some illegal rally ones (stupid and dangerous to do).
