yeah no problem matt will take some on thursday i must warn you though im no professional with the camera but i will do my best will nip to my brothers garage and try and get a few from underneath as well as some from the rear, will send them to you later this week.
where do they get the mileage figures from, the only time i know mileage is passed is during servicing and mot's.
its optional on the v5 when selling a car but that wouldnt tally with above. very strange.
springer - couldnt really say i only had time to fit it and then had to goto work and its only a short journey once its coked up and settled in i will take it for a spin and get back to you, i will say the car does seem to pick up a little smoother from low revs in a high gear, i.e 30mph in 5th...
Collected a BTB system cat back for my 182 at the weekend and fitted it this morning, took my car to my brothers garage and it was expecting it to be fiddly with it being 2 silencers and tail pipes getting it all lined up and fitting right however i couldnt have been any further wide of the...
i have the same problem its 11 miles to work but as i live close to a motorway junction and my work is near the motorway as well it only takes about 15 minutes max and i have to use the car biking/scooters arnt really an option as the alternative route on a-roads etc is trwice as long so I try...
if your havnt any of that bug and tar remover AG glass polish does the trick or if you have a bottle of brake fluid that also works really well, however be very careful to only get it on the glass dont let it go on any other surface.
makes mince meat out of sticker residue though.
a local exhaust specialist will insert sound deadening material into the middle silencer think adding extra baffles into the back box wouldnt be cost effective, hunt down a local specialist and see what they say.
i had a de cat on my last car a 106gti with custom exhaust it was a bit too loud really as the system had no middle box and on a rolling road i has a few bhp down over my last figures duen to lack of back pressure.
not sure how much diff it would make to a 1.2 but you may find your emissions...
how long have you had the 9 points mate, any over 3 years old dont count in the totting up procedure, however 108mph is in theory an instant ban anyway, if some of those are over 3 years old you are going into court with less points history than you think.
best bet is to seek legal advice...
i put my g/f on my insurance when she passed her test, she was 22/23 years old at the time and it didnt cost me anything.
i think the fact she is a provisional holder will make matters harder.
Im down for one, will give you a ring week or so before FCS and sort out payment.
I will prob send you a personal cheque dont fancy carrying that amount of money down with me.
Speak to you soon, John.
is that mascrat manor i see in the back ground? very popular for car clubs foods a bit hit and miss though.
winston - i thought i recognised you i was behind your caddy last week in walkden you had some seats in the back, small world. the 2 clios parked next to each other one with white alloys...
a de cat would change the note slightly but there is a good chance your emissions warning light on your dash will light up which im sure could prove annoying over time, i have just ordered a btb exhaust system with the cat still in place i think it sounds nice not too loud and the tail pipes...
i removed my acoutic valve and sound deadening from the bonnet along with a panel filter you can hear slightly more induction noise at 5k now but not much louder to be honest, as people say induction kits (sealed) give most noise, and i have just ordered a btb exhaust system.
yeah same here im interested, i spoke with a local garage (awsome.gti) and they said it would be 6 - 8 weeks for a milltek as they didnt have any in stock and milltek didnt have any available.
long shot but anyone going to FCS with a btb exhaust system (with cat in place)? looking at a new system and fancied hearing one before make the plunge.
cheers
nail in 2 of my PE2's within short space of time i couldnt get hold of a replacement so opted for pirelli p zero nero's and at only £50 a corner bargain. im happy with them.
i thought (no expert) they have a 2 stage limiter, first limiter is set a little lower once you have hit the first limiter the second higher limiter is then used.
it makes sense really having the first lower limiter there just incase and for safety then once the ecu knows your in a rush the...
the advertising leaflet with the filter says never needs cleaning but i dont believe them to be honest i cant understand how you can filter out crap without it getting dirty, only had mine in a few months but i havnt seen any cleaning kit specifically for the itg.
not sure whaty model you have mate but if its an upper brace you have it sits/bolts between the top suspension turrets, if your looking at your engine bay from the front of your car they are at the top left and top right above where your wheels would come up, on clios i dont think there are any...
im 28 years old with 10 years ncb and 3 points which are over 3 years old with car parked on driveway and an 8000mile limit on my policy i pay 580 fully comp and the wife as named driver also on my 182 (she has her own clio though) i think thats a pretty good price you have there mate, my area...
i think a before run, remap and after run would be an excellant idea and im sure half a dozen different peoples results posted up would silent critics and give you some figures you can quote for future business.
im keen for this if someones sorting a CS discount day.
hope delivery and fitting...
i've used a number of RR places in the NW, prosport in stockport were pretty accurate before it burnt down havnt been back since, tried a few others over the years but now use Awsome gti in irlam, we ran a few RR days there with about 15 - 20 cars per day and between modded cars we ran a few std...
what you had on the golf was an water-oil cooler which uses water feed from your radiator to cool your oil, i have fitted air-oil coolers by using a sandwich plate which sits between your engine and filter, really easy to do.
as far as fitting an oil temp sensor and oil pressure i think you...
