Ive got a stealth system, has quite a squarish back box and a very curly tail pipe that hides behind the bumper, i can get a pic if need be.

Got an accident damaged 172 coming today, i need to test the engine before removing it for sale, but it comes without any keys as salvage often does, im just wondering how i can fire the engine up can i bypass the immobiliser and put a spare barrel i have on which has a key

Thinking about buying a ph1 172 as something to do, needs a replacement engine, Can i fit a ph2 engine? will everything just swap over, do i just need to fit the original throttle body? what order do i take things out in? am i best taking the box off and then lifting the engine then the gearbox...
anyone able to check if this 182 is petrol blue?

changing rear bearings on my mates 1997 1.4 clio (mk1 ph3). but can't get the rear drums off. Took the 30mm centre nut out but they won't budge? is there anything else i need to take off? or is there a special tool/method to this?

anyone able to check diologys on a price for an rs rear stub axle.... just the stub... its on a 52 172 ff... doubt it makes any difference though... or if anyone has one for sale give me a pm ;)
The 172 headlight ive bought for one im repairing at the moment is quite grotty on the inside face of the lamp... these can't be split apart? is there anything i can do other than compressed air?

few weeks ago ive bought a large compressor and some spray guns and various products from my paint supply store and im getting fairly handy with the gun.... been spraying up slam panels etc on my damage repairables.... and practicing on old panels... now i want to refurb a set of wheels...

noticed the damaged 172 i bought has a slightly bent rear axel... noticed because 1 wheel is scrubbing.... and the gap between the end of the skirt and wheel is different on each side....
is the axel the same as the cup?
also is the same as the non disc one? so i could just bolt the discs...
has anyone got a pic of what the service book/handbook/wallet that comes with the car.... needing a replacement for the one ive just bought and i need to make sure im buying the right one...

wondering where it is on a ph1 172 as i need to apply for the logobook... however there is a chance the dash might have been replaced so can't rely on the one on the back of there, where else is it located?
