Totally agree. Buy a new car and sell it within 6 months and ur going to loose a shed load. Going to try and hang on to mine until warranty is nearly out (March 07). Hopefully get 5-6k for it and then order clio 200 (if reno pull their finger out and give us what we want!)

Its a nice unit and matches the interior very nicely. However, the OEM Ready feature was a big selling point for me as there arent many units on the market that will work with both display and stalk controls...

Clarion just told me it wont work. :@ . What the point in selling a feature on a head unit and then telling you it wont work. .. or it will as long as your car is more than 4 years old. tos*ers

Just a quickie. Got myself a new clarion head unit and they have an adaptor that makes the unit work with the stalk controls and display unit. However, it says clio models 98>00. Is the display unit different in a 2004 model?? Cheers Mo

I think the sound is ok on the standard one. Just like the idea of the mp3/wma instead of messing around with cds all over the car + the expense of a changer + cable. Just keep 1 cd in car and when your bored with it burn another one ! Still cant find better than £262 for the alpine!
