I had alook at this at the Autosprt show, it looked very badly finished with holes all around the box and the it really doesn't look like £500 worth of kit (unlike the ITG).
I was thinking of getting one before seeing it and when i tried to ask the guys at the show something about it they...
Where is the best place to mount harness's to, im thinking about some for trackdays but i carnt see an easy place to mount them on the inside of the drivers seat?
Anybody got a pic of there Ipod on a Denison craddle in their car?
Want to know where people have put them because i shouold be getting mine this week.
Not really. I live in between Liverpool, Preston, Southport and Wigan, so im quite close to some major towns. I do 55miles each way to work and then i can do 200miles on a weekend!
Im thinking about getting one but i don't really want anything that will create a traditional IK 'roar' (i do 110miles on the motorway every day and i would have to destroy it).
I like the look of the ITG just wondering opions on the above and the potential improvements to throttle response...
Going to the ring again in May/June and thats another 2k plus a trip to LeMans in June and then various trackdays etc.
Will probs have around 32k after the first year!!
No, couple of paitwork probs when i got but that was sorted inside a couple of weeks/attempts!!
I do 110 miles a day to work and back + a trip to the nurburgring in its first week keeps the trip going up!
Mine went really bad after about 12K, to the point that an emergency stop good be timed on a sun dial. Ferodo pads, new discs, goodridge hoses and new fluid sorted them out and they are now 100x better!!!
After getting out of a 182 on a test drive the salesmans said to me (presumably to clinch the deal) the 182's come with 18's as well!!!
I also got a phone-call from the dealers that i got my Dynamique from and then part-exed for my 182 saying that my car was 3 years old and do i want to go in...
Ferodo pads = £85
New Discs = £65
Goodridge hoses = £40
Castrol brake fluid = £10
Everybody looking at my wheels at the petrol station because my brakes are smoking = Priceless!!!
Thats what i thought, im going to get some long braided bits made up to match the standard, or get a mix of solid and braided.
Whats the point of replacing some but not all the hoses????
But there should be six hoses to replace the flexible hose that is in the centre of the two solid green hoses on the rear, two for the axle to the floorplan and then two for the front?
I got some goodridge hoses for my 182 last week and looking at the rears i carn't see where they go on! The standard flexible hose is crimped to a solid green pipe and the is no pipes in the kit that link the rear beam to the floorplan.
Has anbody fitted these can help.
I checked the part...
I have a Blueflame, been on for around 8000 miles now and its mint. Not had anyproblems.
I personally wouldn't ever look at a powerflow system, they are well known for being really poor quality, they use mild steel rods to weld stainless tubing, and it just rusts!
Yes but with it being powerflow that means it will need replacing next year antway! There s/s and welding they use is shocking!
one of my mates has had three systems from them under warranty on his corsa in 18months!
