Re: iPhone Software 3.0 - Out 17/6 & iPhone 3GS - Out 19/6
Can't believe everyone craves so much storage. Can I make a claim of being the only one here who has an iPhone without a single musical track on it?! Of course this means I still have several gigs of my 8 left too!
I know about as much about car mechanics as I do flying spacecraft, but maybe the clutch isnt fully disengaging, so that when you brake to a stop, it pulls the engine to a stop too?!
Mmmm, it looks pretty good, and very interesting. Definitely thanks for sharing! Pretty certain you could get 98% the same effect with some judicious selection, an alpha with a radial gradient and the lens blur filter, though?
Okay I might! I wouldn't be happy though. I'm amazed about the takeup figures someone mentioned earlier. Seeing as everyone who doesn't have them in a fast hatch seems to have retro fitted them, these figures don't make any sense to me at all!
I reckon the silver looks a bit weirder cos it's missing the number plate, making the black insert look even more prominent. Absolutely love the black, I'm too old to get it in green! I need one of these cars! Not even considering it until they get xenons though. What is it, the 90's again...
Finally solved this after loads of faffing around. I was already pushing it hard enough to bend the plastic surround, but a bit of extra force and it suddenly clicked into place and the light came on! It turns out the mechanism is just sprung extremely hard. Problem solved! The moral being, if...
Viruses are so tricky to get rid of nowadays it's just a lot quicker and cleaner to reinstall windows, then make sure you do all the security updates and be a lot more careful what you click on from then on ;-)
Everyone is only mentioning it's looks! How about the fact that from what I have read this could be the first car with some low end grunt for a (car) generation! I'm excited and probably want one. What is this about no Xenons? They are at least an option, right?!
I know I would say this having a 172, but I always found double exhausts on a 2 litre car a bit show offy and OTT, it's a small hatchback, not an AMG black! You can't beat the clean stealth of the hidden exhausts :-P Having said that every other aspect of the 182 is better I suppose. Hold out or...
Damn, I guess I might have to look for another type. I did notice that the middle pin contact coming off the charger goes directly down in to lighter socket where it is mounted with a small screw, and I have a feeling it may be touching that and not getting a connection. As said, yep the lighter...
Does anyone know if clio's (172 Ph2) have weird shaped lighter sockets? The tomtom charger I bought off ebay doesn't work off it, but it does work in other cars. I have tested the lighter and it works, so it's not an electrical problem. The contacts *look* like they are connecting properly...
It's not that surprising - I live on a long residential street and last weekend while I was washing my car, 9/10 that someone was driving down it at warp speed it was a very young lad. They pay more cos they crash them more!
It's a cool project, but the thing I'd miss more than any other would be not having the multitouch trackpad. When I go back to using a Win laptop, it feels archaic having to use one of those little side scrollbar sections, and having no pinch and swipes. :-(
Definitely the future, but I'm sure I saw an article on Tom's the other day that found a drastic loss of speed in all of their long termers after a year. Something to do with the way discarded info gets dealt with? (Technical eh?!)
Parallels works beyond immaculately for me. It even lets you run Windows on a different screen, inside a window, or in coherence mode, whereby Windows applications just run on the OSX desktop. It's very impressive!
