I've had some diesel leak from a can into about 50% of my boot carpet, which has left an oily stain. Anyone got any smart ideas to help me get it out? Obviously the carpet just pulls out of the car, so at the moment I'm thinking fairy liquid and a jetwash maybe. Any brighter ideas? thanks!!!

I had a world of pain doing exactly this to a mate's laptop. Thought it would be a piece of cake; ended up spending two full days trawling forums for missing drivers and all sorts that aren't even compatible with XP. Even when I gave it back, the webcam and ethernet port weren't working. Whoops!

Depends what shots you are looking for, but out of my 100 macro, 100-400L, 50mm and 10-22mm, it was the wide angle which provided the biggest wow factor in terms of dramatic and dynamic shots!

Bought some 7dayshop branded Nickel Metal Hydrides for my flash a few months ago. Thought these things could hold a charge for months, but mine barely hold it for days it feels like. Is this because I bought own brand? Anyone else had same/different experiences?

Needs enabling in the BIOS somewhere? I used to have a MOBO that reset all it's settings to default on power failures. The amount of times I forgot and had my GFX card unstable was maddening!

Yeah, I'll try without the extra disk again. It's RAID built in to the motherboard. Never regretted anything as much as RAID tbh, it's not even noticeably faster then my identical setup next door, and just causes me pain whenever possible!
