yep flux are a joke, last year they quoted me 16k on my 172 cup, i laughed and hung up then this year they actually gave me a decent quote but in the end i went with Greenlight at around £50 more than flux for the simple fact they took the piss previously and the free MODS was a bonus

don't bother with ARB then imo, do as mentioned track rod ends etc it will tighten it all up

i always say nope it's not getting any more money when something goes wrong but you know summit, it's always fixed and think in the 32 month's iv'e had it the car stands me at about 8k and that's not really with much in the way of mods lol 3200 of it is the price of the car

​tbh mate mine and dmallett made pretty much the same Peak figures although his car has better low down torque, helped by the 182 manifold and headwork etc and holds on to it better right at the top end, i would think that they'd all be close power wise

exactly this tbh, mate had a few golf/bora's and mapped they were stupidly quick just can't compete with the torque they get once mapped

Snap, had this discussion with a lad with a silver 172, tried 2 say he thinks the insurance company know's more than me and that xenons etc were all optional extras, sure enough his reg came up as a cup on Gocompare, likewise some numty saying i don't have a cup as it's got A/C lol
