519Automotive has been VERY busy which will probably's be why you haven't received a reply yet but i'm sure you'll get a response in the next few days atleast
You's of been an idiot not 2 of tbh seen as the heads off, if your going to that extent of valve springs etc you may aswel go for a wilder cam than the Piper's aswel surely with you going ITB's
Re: Ph1 172
Had mine supplied and fitted + mapping from Dan @ 519, very happy with the results tbh as all it has is a cat back and pipercross filter as supporting mods for the cams, should expect you to see slightly better mid range torque due to the 182 manifold
^ just Pagid pads on mine and by that i mean just OEM equivalent, done about 13k and they're ready for the scrap pile but still got loads of life left in the pads, think i'l be going Pagid discs again and trying out the Mintex M1155's
what about Hankook V12.. haven't personally tried them or Hankook S1 evo which i have used and found them a decent tyre or Rainsport 2's which are at £33.25 each at the minute on Camskill
well tbh i'm VERY disappointed in my BREMBO HC discs, only fitted in Nov/Dec and already worn right down compared to the pads. Motrio discs what i had on before were better in the wear department and the Pagid's i had on previously lasted far longer than the Brembo's so i for one won't be...
R1R's are decent in the wet, on dry roads however I don't rate them 2 highly as I find they move around 2 much with the large tread blocks, also got feathering on them in the warm when out for a spirited drive
Re: dmallett's 421'd monaco
mine is abit of a freak tho to be fair, know how well mine goes so yours should go like stink with the extra mid-range and with how it holds on at the top end
Re: dmallett's 421'd monaco
pretty similar peak figures to mine, you have better mid-range and seems to hold the torque better towards the very end, good to see it's back to full health
