There are so many good reasons to buy a 360 but one big fat one mentioned in this thread not to part with any of my money on this unreliable rubbish.
Seriously wtf is going on. The odd 360 breaking down, fair enough (a bad batch perhaps) but three 360's in the time you've owned it??!! If you...
2k will get a superb specd machine, especially as he already has a decent screen.
I wish I had 2k to spend on a new mac and software, I'd love to upgrade my mac for a bit more speed, my G4 is nearly 5 years old but still works great, I can honestly say they are superbly built and last well...
I think that part of the problem isnt just general ignorance to other peoples property but the fact that manufacturers use tin foil for body pannels.
My old 70's ford never once picked up a single parking dint because the pannels were about 4mm thick, you can put a dent in a modern car just...
hahaha dont hold back dan...
Gold and black was awsome back in the day when the John Player Special F1 cars were doing the rounds. That said, I have to agree though, paint the badges and intake satin black and i might just have to be jelouse!
I think at 20 years old and owning a car like this he's showing a 'fair' bit of restraint given the fact that I've seen blokes twice his age in go-faster rep mobiles take way more risks at much higher speeds on busy roads.
Just take it easy though Subway!
I hope you are feeling better and your car gets sorted out.
I got hit from behind, luck would have it that I saw the idiot behind me the split second before he hit me so although I didnt have time to brace myself I knew what was comming, my missus didn't have that luxury though and we had a...
There will be plenty of people interested in this and due to it's rareity you should see a good price (unlike some modded cars) this is an exclusive car so your biggest problem will be turning away the test pilots who just want a have a go in a 182 turbo.
Agreed it is real it's on Ebay at the moment, has a little dint on one wing and the bonnet. He is selling with the original wheels, those would so be going straight back on if I bought it!
Next bit of free time I get I'm so trying that spoon trick. Incidently I saw a red clio RN T-reg parked up and not a single dint anywhere and it instantly made me think of the couple of dints I have.
I've started using ag srp then egp on my wheels and this helps loads when cleaning as the brake dust comes off easier. It'll take some time to do your spokey wheels but I think it'll be worth it.
Never has a truer word about valeting been said.
I wash my car about once a month, in that time it may have covered 1500miles but my neighbour still mutters a joke or ten about my 'obsession' which I begrudgingly go along with because he's an old chap and doesn't know what it's like to be...
I'm the same, It's around the £160 mark to get it all done at a bodyshop, I think I could do the spraying myself but lets say thats £50-70 worth of materials I'm just thinking thats nearly 6 months tax / 2 tanks of fuel paid for so I just wack some ag bumper gel on and try to forget about it...
The wheels look alright, I like 15's on the clio. I think if you lower it about 40mm it'll look better. Getting your plastics sprayed will make a difference, my clio's black aswell and this is something I've wanted to do for a while now.
Definatly show me some of your stuff some time dude.
Basicly I did the line work using a combination of the brush and marques (pic 2) then quickly blocked the basic colour / shadows in behind this layer and used a softbrush at about 80% opacity to add highlights. I finished by tinting some of...
Blown away by the response, just expected a couple of 'that's ok's' So many cheers for the props dudes, it's made my day.
Sure did then I worked as a concept artist for a games company and now as a freelancer doing a variety of stuff for kids mags / books etc.
I think I remember you...
I loooove this car, those photo's go in my perfect 10 car garage folder which will have to do untill I can afford the real deal (the garage and the 10 cars) ............ how sad am I.
I certainly hope you'll be 3 wheeling it like jean r around those courses! Please put some vids up when you...
You recognised him!
I actually used some photos as reference (from my large collection of clio images) from Pistonheads so maybe it is your car if it was advertised on there a few months ago.
Cheers for the comments always appreciated! thinking about it now it would have been cool to have him holding that annoying C4 robots severed head!
;)
I'm thinking of doing a 172 / 182 in liquid yellow along the lines of bumble bee (remember him)
I thought I'd share an illustration I have painted in Photoshop of a Clio V6 as a Transformer (the movie comming out 'n all), including the necessary cs logo in the back window.
I've also included images showing how I got to the final image in three stages.
I may at some point do a mk2 Ph2...
You will find no shortage of people who will want the 'mods' you've bought when you are done with them so flogging them off and returning your car to standard before selling it is the best policy for getting most of your money back. (for example I'd like your turini's ;) )
Your work has inspired me and seeing as your the guy who seems to specialise in plastic spraying do you have any tips.
I'm thinking of spraying my side strips and MK2 PH1 bumper plastics in pearl black; are good results possible on parts this large (using rattle cans) or is it best left to the...
I loooooooove the clio Maxi, it'd be in my perfect 10 garage but after seeing that williams I have a hankering for a silver valver / williams aswell now.
I'm not really a fan of bodykitted cars but it seem this ones been done to a fairly high standard, its only a 1.4

Shame to hear.
I think it's worse owning an newer car beause the metal is thin and the dents show up more, especially on something like a clio, because of the smooth lines of the bodywork.
It's not so bad on easy to repair / replace pannels but when its on the main body like a back wing...
I can't find anywhere on the site that says I can order by cheque. Has anyone off here ordered this way before? How long has it taken for your wax to turn up this way?
Or would you just do it over the phone by credit card (not wanting to do this on the net)
I'm thinking of getting some P21s...
