I bought some from demon tweeks, I cant remember what make they are but they looks great. Dark grey in colour with a lighter grey piping. only a very small silver logo and a decent sized heel pad on the drivers side.

not cheesy, they look like oem...
Well seeing as your set on one I'll give you an honest reveiw of mine.
I think the clio's 1.6 likes to be driven, as another post suggested they are not really as happy around town as a 1.2, they sit on a motorway much better and the fuel economy is very good even at 70.
I find mine is...
I dont want to put you off if you've made your mind up already, you'll enjoy the 1.6, they are good cars (I own one and I'm pleased with it) but if it's only a case of 2 more years it might make more sense to save up all that extra you'll spend on insurance etc and put it towards getting the...
I've removed mine by hand to clean behind (also ph1) They just pop off, if it needs a bit of persuasion use a flat object like a coin and gently lever it off.
The speaker is held on by star headed screws, there should be a screwdriver in your tool kit (in the spare wheel well) with the correct...
My mate used a steam cleaner DONT do this though as a week later his headlining just peeled off as I imagine it messed up the adhesive.
A small soft brush and some gentle cleaner like ag should do the trick. You can get a mould inhibitor from the diy which you dilute with water and apply a...
I have considered upgrading the os but when I did the last update Photoshop CS1 crashed everytime a dialogue box popped up (which is frequently!!!!, I traced this to the speech program (that speaks the message in the pop up) and disabled it and it worked fine from that point.
I was part way...
Looks clean
Some origional Renault front foglights + surrounds will finish the front bumper off nicely (but don't drive around with them on if it's not foggy!!) Or possibly just get the surrounds and fit a couple of black (for low profile) air ducts.
Smoked repeaters will look better on this...
I've been doing a bit of looking around and I think I'm going to buy a Mac Pro next year (when i can afford to do it properly), I can put it down as a business expense anyway.
As a quick boost in performance is it worth maxing the memory to 2gig?
Thats my spec and I've had this machine...
I've figured this out to be the ABS activating under light braking and grown to live with it. I have the same problem as you, in that it has become more consistant with time.
It seems to happen mostly when doing about 10mph stopping for some lights. The ABS works fine in all situations when you...
Cheers for the advice,
I think I will just have to bite the bullet and look at the Mac Pro, seeing as the G4 has done me proud this past 4 or 5 years if the Pro can last as long it'll be worth the extra outlay.
I'm thinking it's time to upgrade my G4, it's been superb but I fancy running CS3 now.
Can anyone advise me on these machines and if they are practicle for use in a commercial capacity.
I'll be using it for painting and it'll be handling big files with lots of layers so it needs to be up to...
It's standard in a Ka Luxury / Millenium / SportKa SE, leather on door cards, steering wheel and seats, they do the same in black and black with blue inserts also.
They are very comfy seats aswell!
I was going to say, anyone who deals with yank engines would normally pull a face when you talk about getting more power from a 4 banger, being as they'll be used to dealing with hemi's and the like.
It's going to cost you a couple of grand for a decent engine conversion, at least with an...
I'm really keen on this engine, more so in the little twingo when that gets released, that and the new Fiat 500 which is supposed to have a small engined turbo model in the range.
Long live turbocharged hatchbacks I say.
Also a few thousand miles will make the world of difference to the...
I think that is fantastic.
I wonder if any work was done to the internals to lower the compression ratio and what he is using to control the fueling.
It'd be nice to have some more info on this. The fabricated alloy air box is good too, it all looks very home-made and, judging by the...
If you are worried about stone chips on white over black then a bare metal respray would be the best thing to do on the bonnet with a new front bumper and wings and one of those plastic film guards on the bodywork ahead of the rear wheels.
It looks good. In what areas would you consider it to be better than prev. products you have used, is it easier to apply, remove, is the depth of shine etc better?
You may get flat spots on the tyres with it being in the same position for 6 months, you can get a special block you place under each wheel which distributes the weight. It'll smell a bit musty inside without getting warm much in wet or cold conditions.
If you are worried about someone...
I'm not into bodykits myself but I think your's is well executed and looks like a quality job being black the car looks very stealthy so the body kit dosen't shout too much which helps the overall look.
I'd agree with the comments on the exhaust being perhaps a bit long. love the wheels though...
The brakes on my scirocco were quite bad and they were even worse on my old cortina but they stopped me sure enough when used for an emergency stop like darren said with som brakes you stamp on them and they work well.
The brakes in my clio were very impressive the first time I used them...
The pakaging looks pretty cheesey but the poduct may be way better than the packaging and the daft product description gives you reason to think.
They seem to have gone for an 'angle' when producing the packaging and the blurb that Rich pointed out;
“Dodo Yellow” – a colour charged hard wax...
You'r getting there.
I used to do digimods, but I painted them all by hand and just used photo's to get reference from. In the good old days I used acrylics, water colour and gouche, now I mainly use Photoshop.
As it's been said before try and use the brushes in Photoshop and just use the...
