I'm sure washing liquid is bad for your paint but have you ever seen TFR that stuff feels like grit if you get even the smallest amount of it in your eyes, it's like soap times 100!!!
Now I bet that stuff strips the wax. A chap at my old work used to wash his car every day with that suff foamed...
You can make a cheap tracking device like this:
1: Get an old mobile and a pay as you go sim card with decent network coverage and put a bit of credit on there.
2: Get an incar charger for that phone and hard wire it into a permenent feed (this will insure the phone is always charged)
3: Hide...
I was offered £1600 for my car when it got written off, the offer was made over the phone (I dont know if this is the same fo your friend) and therefor I negotiated, he called me back about 5 minutes later and said £2400 what a difference!
I am going off the pesumtion now that the £1400 she...
Yep that looks awsome! It's certainly one of the nicest Ph1's I've seen for some time. I imagine this colour on a 172 is rare.
The first shot of it in the garage makes it look almost Acid Yellow.
PS. I want those wheels!!!!!!
Do you have to take the car in to be looked at though? I am guessing that if somthing happens in the future then Renault wont want to know unless it's been in to a dealer.
I understand what is being said about doing the job at home, I'd rather spray my catch neatly and bypass farting about at...
Yeeeeh! Amiga's rock I had an A1200 and a CDTV.
I've still got boxed copies of Golden Axe and Alien Breed just incase I ever bought another. Get a copy of IK+ (kick the bombs!) and Skidmarkz, wicked little racing game you can even tow caravans and use them to wiplash you around corners while...
I cant use Google Earth because I cant be arsed to upgrade my OS. but it is wicked.
I've found my last car on there.
I use Flash earth instead, basic but the photo's are good.
My gf is insured on my RSi and will be using it for a few days while I have some work done on hers, she used to drive it daily up untill 6 months ago. Because she hasnt driven it in so long I figured she better take it out for a drive to 'get used' to it again.
Feck me.
She hated it...
I know what your saying..... Imagine seeing it on youtube doing burnouts down the local carpark...
But nah, car was perfect its a proper class dealership, Porka GT3's + AMG SL's etc in the showroom type of place. Mot and digital print out of emissions etc... so car was actually done, lol...
I'm impressed with Mercedes customer care.
My dad took his Merc in for an MOT, bearing in mind this was short notice, when he arrived he got given a token for a ride into town and back on the bus and picked his car up when they said it would be ready.
It was given a clean and when he...
tbh sidewinders method is better because it's more versatile.
I use my method when I scan in hand drawn artwork to do quick concept visuals and paint on a layer below.
The biggest advantage to sindwinders way is that afterwards you can lock layer opacity and tint aspects of the line work.
Can anyone help with these Renault paint q's?
Is 'Black Pearl' paint metallic?
if not.
Is there any other black metallic other than 'Black Gold'?
Thanks.
Very dodgy. If that was a young inexperienced woman driving on her own she'd be terrified.
The pair of them are complete cowards to use a bigger vehicle to bully another motorist on their way home like that.
Report the facts that you do have to the police, you never know they may have had a...
Never mind all this cut out b****cks.....
If you are laying this on-top of another image then go to levels (ctrl+L) or (Apple+L) on a mac. Like it's been said slide the adjusters but keep the background white.
Now put this on top of the layer you want it over and in the layer control pull down...
tbh I'd rather buy a car thats done 72k and had the cambelt done than 60k and needs it doing.
Service history is what you need. 60k and a full service history, no problems.
Infact a well looked after 100k miles engine is nowhere near the end of it's life but it is just one of those perceptions...
Good one!
On my 17th my mum and dad said 'your present will be here at 6 o'clock' excited all day at college I nearly burst by 6 when I got a knock at the door.....the present............was a driving lesson..... wooot :)
I've seen these at car boot sales going for £10. I bought one that I sold on with my scirocco for about £8 from a boot sale, still had both keys aswell iirc.
when you do a re-install like this are the blocks on the hdd saved in order so that there isnt gaps (fragmented) all over the place with a bit of information from one file here and a bit from the same file there?
I used to do a defrag on my PC all the time and it sped it up. Is there an app...
Sainsbury's are doing a savings account at 6% whack some money in that every month or an ISA if you havent already got one.
Some accounts offer even better rates but you must place a certain amount into the account by direct debit every month for 1 year to gain the higher percentage.
I'd...
Christ Rich, have you ever owned a dirty car.
I had a metro GTa 1.4 8v which was quite quick. I dont think I have any photo's of it but needless to say i used to drive it down country lanes in all weather and wash it about once a year, the only clean part was the plates, lights and swept area...
Did you not think it could be a wind up? Bhp is one of those things that is always quoted in a 'mines quicker than yours' argument but it's often a tall tail.
Most of the time people who pluck these figures out of the air have no idea wheather the reading was from the flywheel or through the...
If your car had a nice layer of EGP and wax it'd flick off with your nail. Use a credit card and see if that works (I guess it's globby thick paint???)
A kid ran down the side of everyones car with a tin of red spray paint where I used to live, my old car was yellow so it looked like a jam...
Bad news, my last car got dented (hit repeatedly with a stick I think.... wtf) so I can understand how mad you must feel, I went mental about my car when I saw the damage and just wanted it fixed right that second. I hope you get it sorted and it doesn't cost too much.
