I made one of these about 10 years ago.. was great fun.. used an injector and Nichrome wire.. worked well .. its was amazing how many people didt drive up yer chuff after a whiff of Napalm..

if the engine IS receiving warm air, then certainly getting a cooler feed can be beneficial after the unit as warmed up !!!.
to those who think ram -air works.. try the following..
get simple pressure gauge and hook it up to the plenum.. go for a blast - say to 90 mph, and check the...

From that it seems like litter or alteration of light level is the most possible cause.
At least we now know the reasons for the glitches.. nothing to do with computers failing etc...

induction kit style cone filter with the super bonus of a rammed airbox system with a very short inlet tract instead of the crappy way that IKs suck in hot air.
When you lift the bonnet you would unseal the box and when you close it the box will seal again. Very easy to maintain and should...

has anyone still got the pics.. one of them seemed to show a lack of engine mount on the cam pully end ?????

Brun m8.. the Renix ecu outputs codes via rs232 protocol.. you cannot use the common tricks to read this (like a simple led and resistor).. I have the book, dont bother, it will tell you nothing of interest..
I will drive over there this afternoon and take a look.. there was defo a reno one on...

hi m8, gone kinda slow at the mo.. awaiting manufacture of forged pistons and the machining is halted due to the need to bore the block to suit the pistons (cant do this till they arrive). (83mm)
So, I bought a NOS kit to play with in the mean time lol.
