Yeah you can certainly hear the induction noise more without it. But the engine also sounds a lot more rattly.
I think I'm going to take it off again to be honest. The car sounds better at full throttle without it on.
I had the windows down in my car yesterday while chatting to a mate and realised just how horrible and tappy the engine sounds on idle and at low revs.
I decided to put the sound proofing back under the bonnet lid and it's amazing how much better it sounds.
Has anyone else done this? Or is it...
Yes you can use a static IP. Just because your ISP gives you a dynamic IP address does not mean you can't use static IP's inside your network. The router will NAT your internal hosts so all web traffic appears to come from the router's external IP address. It changes the IP headers and makes the...
Re: What anti-virus?
AVG uses too many system resources IMO.
When you look at the memory usage of the AVG processes and compare them to what NOD32 or Avast! are like on idle you'll see why I never recommend it to people. I personally use Microsoft ForeFront now because I have a Technet...

Either that or choosing the "Delete browsing history" option...
Wouldn't surprise me if they used this as a clever marketing ploy to get you to have your MOT there.
They could be offering the MOT for free because they'll find something to fail it on so that you have to pay them to fix it, then pay another £22.50 for a retest.
Do what I do and take the car to...
As above. Definitely the heater resistor. It's a common problem. It's happened to mine twice now!
Quite easy to swap out if you're confident enough. Most people buy them from a scrappie but I decided to get a new one the second time it went.
I know Demon Tweeks aren't in Mansfield. I was replying to Boosh.
Who is it that doesn't like Mansfield then? Apart from me? There can't be that many who are fond of it...
Should have put "Forced Induction RS Clio's - How many are there?"
That would have detered those with poverty spec models from putting their names down. :rasp:
EDIT: The above comment excludes Cup owners.
