Definitely the battery. Even though the car appears to start fine and runs fine, the battery is on its way out. I replaced mine last winter and it sorted the problem. It was the original battery, so it had been in there for a good 5 years.

The way I see it is that with a 280bhp / 280lb/ft ish Clio with a bit of weight stripped out, you've essentially got round about 300bhp/ton. That's more than a Porsche 911 turbo 996 and nearly as much as the new 997. Fair enough the Clio might not have the same traction off the line, but when...

ABS works by temporarily disengaging the brakes when the wheels lock up. When it's icy and you brake, you can skid. When you skid, the wheels are locked up. ABS disengages the brakes during a skid and means you've effectively got worse brakes than if you just locked up and let the friction...

Mark. I believe Legohead on here has a 182 turbo for sale. It's got an engine problem but you could always buy that and ship it off to K-Tec or another specialist to be repaired. It might work out cheaper in the long run.

TBH the traction control does feck all anyway. My 172 doesn't have it anymore due to running an Omex ECU. And the car is turbo'd. I don't even notice it missing. Decent tyres, good brakes and paying attention is all you need IMO. Just turn it off!

As I said in my previous post, I find P Zero Nero's pretty good in the wet. I couldn't tell the difference between them and Exalto's (and that's when pushing it). I think saying they're dangerous in the wet is a bit harsh. I'm not saying they're the best tyres because I know they aren't, but...

Mine never worked below 30mph. I think they're all like that but I could be wrong. And touching any of the pedals while driving along will turn it straight back off, so you'll have to press the button on the steering wheel to set your speed again.

I have mine at 34psi front and 31psi rear. That's 1psi more per tyre than the handbook says they should be, but I've experimented a bit and the car feels better. Any higher and it feels skippy. Might have to try lowering them instead, see what that's like? EDIT: That's with P Zero Nero's. I...
