I have a tub of upol filler and am going to be repairing some chips and bits on my project car.
What grit papers am i going to need for prep, smoothing, all the way up to paint I was thinking 1200 and 600 or 800? but not sure what order etc.
Right just purchased a vehicle and it has a few chips etc in it and wanting to fill them and smooth them with filler.
Don't imagine I'm going to need very much.
What do people recommend?
I'm buying the thermostat and the fan as a kit, I'm (obviously) adding the dash switch and the light for my own learning and experience plus got the idea while sat in the pits etc I may decide i wana switch the fan etc.
Just wana know if it looks like it will work because i havent done it...
Im wanting to make a glass fibre air box but kind of know naff all about what i need and whats out there?

Right I've made up a rough wiring diagram on paint and first real one I've done so keep that in mind.

Got a seibring back box.
Not keen on having the shiney tubes so was looking at chopping them off the getting the welders at work to put some 90degree bends on and make it a stealth.
But just had a look down the chrome pipes and inside there are two little pipes coming out of the box and...
K-tec have it at 125 iirc which is a nice tidy gain that wont sod the living day lights out of your engine. If you care about your engine it's the one to go for imo.

Theres the 6 cd changer one which the tune points plug into and there is another socket which you can plug an aux cable into. Can take a pic if you want?
All the info off of the cars ECU with the correct software and connectors and alot of money.
The AUX for the radio is naturaly on the back of the head unit.
The black surround lights are £300+ each from reno. There are some angel light style ones on ebay (dont snigger) which dont look tooo bad.
Quite like my cornering lights why you disconnect em gaz?
give it a good dead blow hit all around the rim so not to damage it.
Once its off...get some copper grease and spread it around the hub and the inside of the wheel to stop it happening again.
