Recommend me a bodyfiller

Right just purchased a vehicle and it has a few chips etc in it and wanting to fill them and smooth them with filler.

Don't imagine I'm going to need very much.

What do people recommend?

for stone chips i usually use a 2k stopper its finer then body filler ,most brands are fine .the stuff in halfauds would be ok i guess.

Looks more like pikeys have taken pot shots with an air-riffle tbh so i guess little deaper than a stone chip.

Don't need too much and those 3.5L tubs are quite pricey when I want use much.

Is it true that filler can sink after a while or is that only if its been applied incorrectly?

that david s isopon is more or less the same stuff as the u pol easy sand. theyare both the same company so that will be fin and yeah filler does sink after a while. its a bast**d when it does.

Bugger, I had a dent removed from my door but the dent was quite deep so I've been left with a fair bit of panel warp (where the skin was stretched). Will a body shop be able to remove this (without changing the door skin). If they fill it will the filler sink?

The warp can only been seen from certain angel (nevertheless its very annoying as its right in my line of sight)

probly not without any riples in it. body panels are so thin and flimsy nowedays that you cant really panel beat them the way they usto. and heat shrinking is out of the question. they can be cold shrunk but i have yet to see a body shop that does this as its just as economicle to change the skin and you know their will be nothing wrong with it at the end. filler doesnt tend to sink strait away and obviously the more expensive the filler is the longer it will last. it also pays to use a decent 2 pack high build over the top. this can also help reduce sinkage.
