    EK9 or Clio 172

That looks better than the one I'm acquiring. Nice rims. They look very basic and dated these days. LOLz at hijacking Civic v Clio thread with Skodas!!

    I need Nos. No. Two.

    What's your top end ?

You need NOS. Doubt you will see anymore speed as I reckon is all to do with gearing and limiters and s**t. Tdi nail you, did it? Also - probably nearer 130 as the speedo ain't accurate. Prepare to be hung out for everything to do with racing, silly speeds, public highways and admitting...

    200 Cup MPG from new

Assuming it's your first gentle drive, running the car in. On a similar drive in a 172 it would be more than 40mpg. Hate all the way. Plus it's still a horrid looking car!

How much is your Clio costing you?

He's 19 and clearly needs to be seen as having a fast car to out-do his pals. Nobody with a grain of sense would consider that kind of insurance payment for a car, this side of a Veyron. He might just have rich parents that are happy to pay this for him.

How much is your Clio costing you?

£3360 a year on insurance for a Clio worth circa £5K!? That's the funniest thing I've ever heard! Do you not understand when you are getting robbed dry? You'll have paid nigh on £10K over three years or so on insurance.

    Justifying/keeping a car you don't use.

Sell it and dry your eyes! It's just a car. Or keep it and use it. Nobody wants their car dented but it happens from time to time - deal with it. What are you made of, btw? You'll not fall apart in a Trophy due to the ride. Man up! If it's affordablity, sell it for something cheaper.

    ^^ Drive it.

    Insurance

Supercharged?! Okay. 2 crashes and 6 points - think you need less power, unless it's an electric one you have. What's the excess on your insurance?

    Clio RS200 running costs

Interesting, however, it is the monthly factor that determines if you can afford a car or not. And another consideration might be a warranty. Have to say that the mpg on the 200 is fecking awful, if an M3 can match it!
  24. G

    Clio RS200 running costs

So you are telling me an M3 isn't going to cost much more to run on a daily basis than a 200, depreciation aside?!

    Porsche 997 Turbo content

Lovely! Would be my first lottery win purchase - 997.2 I know someone who owns a F430. He said he 'got dropped' by a Turbo when going up north for a weekend. On the Monday, he was at Porsche enquiring. He decided to keep the Ferrari.

    Clio RS200 running costs

It would cost more to run on more than just servicing. And £9k for an E46 - it's unlikely to be a shining example. Yes, depreciation wouldn't be an issue but the problem is the daily/weekly/monthly running costs, which would be a good bit more than a 200. The insurance and tax would be hefty...

woman less of an insurance risk?

If there were no spaces left and you'd taken up two, I'd box you in and you wouldn't be going anywhere until I moved. Yes, car dents from people not taking care is a nightmare but there's not a lot you can do about it.

woman less of an insurance risk?

Dry your eyes. The fact that you photographed this non-event and took the effort to upload it to the web means you clearly have issues or no friends. Hope your car has recovered though - must have been a concern for a while. Cars that park in close proximity to other cars are always a concern.
