No doubt, the Clio is right up there with the best hot hatches but it still loses on looks, with that front end.

Surely it depends on how much interest they take in cars? When I first started checking out remaps etc for my Clio, the websites were all pointing towards +10bhp for the remap, +4 for the induction kit, +8 for the exhaust, etc...so I (foolishly) thought it was a case of adding them up to see...
Fair enough but my derv is definitely cheaper to run than the Clio. The last service was below £200, on par with what the Clio cost and the insurance is the same too. Tax is cheaper on the derv, though.
As far as something breaking, that's not a cost unless it happens, so cannot be added to...
I wondered about this but I used to get between 350-380 miles from my Cup (50 litre fuel tank) and I just managed 415 miles in my Cupra (45 litre tank).
That's a fair difference, especially at today's fuel prices.
But to the OP, you need think about getting rid if you are concerned about...
I've no experience with Greenstuff but I reckon you should be able to source the ds2500 pads for a better price elsewhere. I'm sure I paid £85 for my set but I can't remember where I got them. Either set will be an improvement on standard.
