Yes but they version check and won't work with FF3 unless you disable the version check manually which is what I had to do.

Sorted the dictionary, disabled the version check and installed the current version that's available for 2.X

If he's using phpbb he probably doesn't want to cough up for a vBulletin license. I've found SMF to be more feature rich and far less prone to db errors than phpbb. In fact since I've been using SMF I've never had a db error but with phpbb they were a far too regular occurrence.

It bugs me ;) I've worked in tech support and when you ask what they use and they respond with "a pc" it gets to you after a while.

I think most of you are mixing a PC and Windows up. PC (Personal Computer) = hardware and will run a variety of OS's.

Had a problem a while ago with another machine that would randomly freeze. memtest came back fine but it did turn out to be a memory stick. However, that stick worked find in another machine. Tis all fun and games.
