Firefox 3 Beta 1

It's rendering a lot quicker than 2 for me on my Linux box.

Erm... Is there actually any difference colour wise?

Surly the colour is the same as the theme your using on the OS? For exmaple mine is grey as Im using Windows Classic theme.

There's something about it that I don't like.... Can't put my finger on it. Gone back to 2 for the time being.

Sorted the dictionary, disabled the version check and installed the current version that's available for 2.X

Once installed go to Add-ons -> select the new add-on and click preferences -> click the add-ons tab and tick "Disable add-on compatibility checking"

Yes but they version check and won't work with FF3 unless you disable the version check manually which is what I had to do.

Downloaded Beta 2 today as was getting truely fed up with 2.0.0.11's memory issues. I can't use my developer extensions on it but assume the link above might sort it?

I knew it was time to change when i even considered using Internet Exploder.

Ive gone back to the old version now though as i got fed up with the beta

I've had to disable Firebug to get Java stuff to work and couldn't get my web developer tools to work
